Tunnel at Azabudai Hills: 3-Person Pop-Up Shop on Three October Weekends
Tunnel, an ultra-small pop-up shop with space for only three people at a time, will appear at Azabudai Hills on seven days across three October weekends in 2026. The project is designed like a physical magazine: each weekend has a different theme and a new selection of objects, art and products chosen by its participants.
Dates and themes
| October 10-12 | First theme: an exploration of value and taste through selected objects |
|---|---|
| October 17-18 | Second theme: sensitivity, adolescence and personal memories |
| October 24-25 | Third theme: objects that create a private sense of delight |
| Hours | 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. each day, scheduled |
| Venue | Azabudai Hills KIOSK STAND in the Central Green |
A shop designed like a magazine
The concept turns the feeling of reading a themed magazine feature into a small physical shop. The selected items vary widely, from everyday objects and clothing to art works and unusual collectibles. The official description emphasizes discovering different ideas, cultures and personal viewpoints through the objects on display.
Different objects every weekend
The official event page introduces different examples for each weekend. The first weekend includes items such as a casino-shaped coin bank, an artwork by Takemi Seto and a white shirt from FOUNDOUR. Later weekends include other art, fashion and collectible pieces.
Because the space is limited to three visitors at a time, waiting may be necessary during busy periods. The official page does not list a general admission fee or reservation system, so check the latest event information before visiting.
Original Tunnel leisure sheet
A special Tunnel leisure sheet is also planned for sale. It is designed like a magazine spread, presenting selected items together with memories and stories, while also functioning as an actual picnic sheet that can be used in the Azabudai Hills green space.
Access
The venue is inside Azabudai Hills, a large mixed-use complex in central Tokyo. The most convenient rail access is from Kamiyacho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line or Roppongi-itchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line. Check the Azabudai Hills map for the KIOSK STAND in the Central Green.
